The CFSP coaching staff would like to congratulate Dillon Pinkerton for earning our December Athlete of the Month nomination. Dillon is a great way to wrap up 2017 because he puts an exclamation point on everything we look for in an Athlete of the Month. He has gone from a once a week CrossFitter to a dedicated athlete who attends class at least 3 times a week and the results have been undeniable. Dillon has changed his body composition, lost a significant amount of weight, gotten stronger, faster, and has the self confidence and smile to show for it. He listens to the coaches, follows instruction and always comes with a willingness to put in the work and have fun with his team 5:30 friends.
Coach Staci says “Dillon has quietly changed his mentality toward training over the last year. In 2016, Dillon would be at the gym sporadically. Now, he is a 4 -5 times a week athlete. He has shed pounds, gotten so much stronger and it’s been so cool to see his personality emerge with the increased self confidence. Dillon has a great sense of humor and brings a positive attitude to team 5:30. I’m excited to see his continued gains over the next year!”
Coach Alex says “Dillon’s steady dedication the past couple months have propelled him forward like I have never seen before. In the last few weeks I have watched him learn new skills and make some great progress. We love Dillon and his appreciation of the community around him. He has nothing but good things to say all the time. We are the one’s that should be grateful for who he is an how he has impacted our community. Great job boss.”
Coach Sally says “Dillon always comes in with a smile. He works hard and never complains. Always fun to coach and a pleasure to have in class, Dillon brings a joyful presence to the gym!” And Coach Travis says “Dillon brings more than just a smile and body to the gym; he is beyond dedicated, his energy is beyond infectious, and his attitude is beyond Bro-worthy. He helps others around him just as much as he seeks gainz for himself. Dillon is the kind of guy every gym wants. Proud of you, bro.”
